Polar Bear Club and the playlist for 09-28-09

I finally got my hands on some more giveaways for you guys and gals. Tonight it's one of my favorite albums of the year so far...

The album is "Chasing Hamburg" by Polar Bear Club. It's a great follow up to their debut that came out about a year and a half ago. Bridge 9 Records was kind enough to hook me up with a few copies to send out to you so if you're interested, email me at jeff@noisecomplaintradio.com.

Here's a new video from Teenage Bottlerocket. You're going to hear the song on tonight's show but check out the video. One of the guitarists has a pretty sweet Evil Dead 2 shirt on too ha.

Tonight I also have some debuts from Nathan Maxwell, Cherry Poppin' Daddies (yes you read that right) and Every Time I Die. It's actually a pretty good show tonight. Well...I don't mean that to sound like all the other shows are terrible. It's just that I'm particularly pleased with this one. I'd love to hear your feedback so shoot me an email. I want to shake the hand of the marketing genius that came up with this ad campaign. Unbelievable. Enjoy.

Harry Potter and the Gallows?

That picture is real and is not photo shopped. That is a picture of the two stars from the Harry Potter franchise with Frank from the Gallows. According to punknews.org, the two were dressed incognito to go see their show at the Reading Festival and then ended up backstage for a picture. I wonder if we'll hear "Leeches" on the next Harry Potter soundtrack.

Noise Complaint Playlist 09-14-09

Wow what a show last night at the VMA's huh. Think what you want to about country music and about Taylor Swift but what Kanye West did to her was pretty lame. I'm sure you've seen the video of it so I'm not going to waste space here with that. I did see this picture though and thought it was pretty funny...

It's a big week with a few debuts on the show. I had last week off so I'm playing catch up. I did just see this video for the new single from Ever Time I Die. The album is bad ass by the way. Here's the video for Wanderlust...

Ok, I think that's about it from me tonight. Enjoy the show and let me know what you think. jeff@noisecomplaintradio.com
